Information for international students

US BEAT IT is a friendly squash sports club associated with Utrecht University. Our goal is to create a squash community of enthusiastic students, and through this to increase our members’ squash skills. We're regularly enjoying attention from foreign students, and we are happy to cater to their needs as well!

In addition to the squash training, squash-tosses, and tournaments, we organize all kinds of activities to get our members to know eachother, things like club get-togethers, weekend excursions, parties, nights out, and much more!

Membership
A membership for US BEAT IT to participate in all our activities will set you back 70 euros for a full year. From the first of August 2010 it is possible to subscribe when you are a student. You need to take the following steps in order to become a member:

Step 1: would be to create an account. You should try that now (and at the same time practice your deductive skills or google-fu, as the form is in Dutch), but if you run into trouble be sure to drop us a line so we can help you out.
Step 2: transfer 70 euros to our bank account, which is possible from the August 1st 2010.
Step 3: go to Olympos sport desk and purchase a Olympos sports card which costs 25 euros. Explicitly address that you are a US BEAT IT member.
Step 4: you're now a BEAT IT member. Experience it to the fullest!

Officially, you can only get a membership in September but we understand the special circumstances of most foreign students, with varying arrival and departure dates, and BEAT IT can arrange something to accommodate this. Just get in contact with the club board (bestuur@usbeatit.nl), and we can help you get a membership and answer any other questions. Hope to see you soon!
