Come by our stand in the UIT-week at Olympos! Tomorrow we will be there between 13-16 for anyone who would like to get to know Beat It. "L'importance c'est de participer" ๐Ÿ˜š ... Hitch-Hik "L'importance c'est de participer" ๐Ÿ˜š ... Hitch-Hiking Weekend served up a spectacle once again! 275 kilometres had to be covered from Utrecht to Lille, all across one day ... and we didn't even need a back-up car! ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿป Joep and Capucine got off to a flying start, leaving everyone else with jealous faces as they rode off into the distance. What followed? A crazy sequence of events where Tima and Thomas got caught up in a highway accident, Meg and Lukas chose first class convertible rides, Stijn, Menno & Sophie were denied a direct ride to Lille ... and Jurriaan eventually throwing in the towel with hitch-hiking by train ... Everyone finally there, we enjoyed a picnic in the park, went to Palais des Beaux Arts, drank Aperol Spritzes at the terrace and went clubbing! apart from Joep, whose joggers shorts denied him access ๐Ÿ˜ญ Current status: waiting for the cinematic Tima vlog ... โณ๏ธ
Boerengolf, Farmer's Golf ... however you like! On Boerengolf, Farmer's Golf ... however you like! One of our most random sidequests of the season, which featured countless ditch retrievals, struggling looks, and funky swings! ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ In the end, the 'Truthful Farmers' got the better of the 'Farmer's attack force' ... despite having to climb over a fence onto a field of horses to recover some balls! ๐Ÿ”œ Club Championships on the 18th of June, 19:45 at Olympos!
King's day tournament! On the 26th of April, Beat King's day tournament! On the 26th of April, Beat It and SCHIET (Amsterdam) collabed to organise an orange themed tournament at All Inn! The result: a big turn-out, tons of matches and a sea of oranje! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿฆ In the first round, everyone was matched up five times to a randomly selected opponent. Shout-out to SCHIET for lending us their tournament software ... this made sure everything was a smooth operation! Afterwards, no less than nine groups were created to determine the winners. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป๐ŸŽ— Jurriaan and Joep both managed to win their poule, whereas Bart from SCHIET stunned everyone to win the A-class! The winners went home with luxurious orange beers, and some of us even went to the King's day markets and stages to celebrate Willy's birthday ๐Ÿบ The last tournament of the season will be on the 18th of June at Olympos: our prestigious Club Championships! Who will get their name on the trophy?โšก๏ธ

Members Weekend '26!๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿค To a location so secret, ou Members Weekend '26!๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿค To a location so secret, our Chair only got the first clues five metres away from the final destination ... Menno's old house became the scene for a bunch of spectacular activities: a cantus, a pubquiz and an improv comedy show! ๐ŸŽญ At the Scavenger Hunt, some teams were more committed than others: while Stijn, Meg, Leo and Thomas discovered location after location, Joep's team was enjoying a marathon session of Dixit in the HEMA ... eventually though they joined us for some well-deserved beers at Cafรฉ Camelot! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿป The weekend was also full of cultural discoveries: from experiencing hail for the first time, to Sophie finally knowing the German mythology meaning of Nibelung ... ;) Next up: Family Feud on the 8th of April! โœจ๏ธ

Last Saturday, the AcCie took the association out to the lanes of Olround for some bowling action! ๐ŸŽณ From the very first throws, it was clear everyone had a unique style: from Thomas' smashing the ball onto the lane, to Jop's gentle nudge technique, and Kristian's hand on the floor as a good luck charm ... Surprisingly, in true "from zero to hero" style, Stijn bounced back from his disastrous 2025 edition to claim a Redemption Day victory!๐ŸŽ– Beforehand we fueled ourselves with some "plant based power food" at Copper Branch, and the evening finished in style with card games at Ledig Erf! (per Stijn's request, of course with an Elvis Presley card deck ...) ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป
US Beat It's Friends & Family tournament ... or sh US Beat It's Friends & Family tournament ... or should we call it Joep's Friends & Family Tournament? Our Commissioner of Sports brought along most people, and went home with the victory as well! Undoubtedly due to the massive support from the sidelines ... From double-handed fore- and backhands to push-ups before the match ... the day saw nothing less than extraordinary tactics to gain the (mental) edge!โ™Ÿ๏ธ๐Ÿƒ In the end Jelle and Romi took home the (silv-) teaware in the beginner category, while a clean sweep of five 2-0 victories meant Joep won the advanced class!๐Ÿ† Keep an eye out on our calendar for future tournament dates ๐Ÿ“†

Several of us dared to enter the rink at Vechtsebanen, some with lots of experience, others making their debut on ice skates! The new SportCie kicked off their tournament seaso The new SportCie kicked off their tournament season last Saturday, with an Open Tournament at All Inn! The battlefield was filled with players from associations all over: Ballistic (Wageningen), Quatsh (Eindhoven and even Squadraat (Groningen) were all represented! ๐Ÿ† After exhausting ourselves with three to four matches in the group stages, attention turned to the ever merciless knock-out phase. Funnily enough though, being tied on five game wins each, nothing other than the value of a randomly drawn card determined whether Melle, Joep or Ben would proceed ... In the end a Beat It finale unfolded: just like last year Stijn and Toon went up against eachother! Old and new members got the chance to know eachother through name games and Crazy 88, with pizzas at Il Pozzo afterwards!
